An incoming senior at the University of Kansas (KU), Tom Barrett graduated from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He is working toward a bachelor of science in business, management, and leadership, minoring in business analytics, while playing football for the school’s Division I team. In recognition of his athletic and academic performance, Tom Barrett was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the KU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

To complement his studies, Mr. Barrett has served as a business development intern at River SaaS Capital, where he worked with the head of accounting to update the company’s financial model, in addition to participating in advertising meetings. He also spent several months as an intern at 7Signal. Most recently, he interned at Park Place Technologies to gain experience generating sales prospects for account managers.

An active volunteer, Mr. Barrett has been involved with charitable organizations, including the Lawrence Humane Society, the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, and the Salvation Army.
